Comes with remote that does have a fresh battery in it. I am not shipping this item with batteries in the light box though, since that would increase the shipping price due to extra weight. I just did it in the last picture to show it works. They light up in the thermal white color and have 8 different modes. Good for indoor/outdoor use. Light strand is a little over 12 ft long.
