This vintage Royal Mercury manual typewriter comes in very good cosmetic condition, with very minor finish wear to the metal body, discoloration to the hard plastic cover (and a few of the key buttons), and very light overall soiling (see pictures). The unit is in solid working condition, with good action on all the keys and carriage movements. The unit has a fresh ribbon installed (additional ribbons available on eBay and elsewhere for under $10). The unit dates to 1969. It has a slimline body style, with a light gray gloss finish, plated accents, and off-white keys marked with black letters. It features a 12-pitch (Elite) type size.
